Langkawi - Day 2 - Pulau Payar

Well this is Day 2 of my Langkawi Trip.

If you haven't viewed Day 1 here's the Link :

Well on Day 2, Mom and me decided to take a day trip to Pulau Payar, Langkawi Coral.

It was a day of sun, sea, sand and quality time with the fishes! ^^

Well the journey started at 0815am, the bus came to pick mom and me up from the Inn.
Then we left the jetty at 1000am.

What else can I do on the ferry while I get there??? cam whore!!! hahaha

Well as soon as We got on the dock there was a short briefing. And then, down the water we go!
There's a platform where you can sit on without swiming out to the reef.
The fishes are sure hungry! I got mistaken as bread my middle finger got bitten! Ouch...

There's an observation centre if you can't go down the water.
Unfortunately you don't see much unless someone is feeding the fishes from above.

After lunch at 1pm we went up shore for shark feeding. Well not feeding us la!~~~ LOL

There's was only black tip sharks and they are big and FAT!

Well after that, we had back to the dock for more snorkelling activities.
At 330pm we headed back to Langkawi.

Langkawi - Day 1 - The Journey

It has been 10 years ago since I last stepped foot on Langkawi. So I was very excited to see the place again. Well the journey to Langkawi started at KL Sentral. The train was scheduled to be at 8pm but it got delayed till 930pm due to engine problems. So while I was restlessly waiting I took pictures of the ceiling and played around with my phone features and this is what I got.

Well I decided to take the train because I could comfortably sleep to my destination and the arrival timing is more convenient than arriving at 4am in Kuala Perlis.

This is what the train looked like from the inside.

Went to sleep after buzzing Jeffrey and I woke up at dawn snapped some pictures in the train.

All you'll get to see when you wake up in the train is beautiful scenery... Very calming and refreshing from the bustling life in the city where u see only concrete.

Arrived at Arau 9am then took the Cab to Kuala Perlis Jetty around 920am.
The cab cost RM 24 for the whole cab they don't charge by meter or per person.
Then took the ferry at 10am and arrived in Langkawi at 11am.
By the time I got my rental car it was already 12pm. I drove all the way to Pantai Cenang where my hotel is located at. Mom and me stayed at Nadias Inn for the first 3 days and we moved on to town on the 4th day to Hotel Bella Vista. Well we couldn't do much on the first day except drive around and explore the island.
In the evening we stopped at a Pasar Malam. Bought some fruits.

As you can see lots of varieties for you to choose from.

Later before sunset, Me and mom strolled down the famous Pantai Cenang.

off to Langkawi

hey hey you boys and girls...

Just to let you know I'll be off to Langkawi tonight for a vacation.

Will be back in a week..

So I won't be updating my blog till I get back...

shopping with curryegg

hohoho... FINALLY it has been ages since I last went shopping and had a gurlie day out.
This time I had Kelly a.k.a curryegg with me!!!

We went shopping and eating crazy @ Bukit Bintang.

Releasing my stress after a long difficult semester I had in uni. ^^

Anyways we had Japanese Buffet for lunch. We ate and chit-chat enjoying the cute atmosphere and also taking candid pictures of each other... XD
After filling up our bellies... we went SHOPPING!!! trying on outfit after outfit... I came out with 3 dresses and 2 tops for this Christmas and New Year. And, for the whole day I only spent RM200 inclusive of food, public transportation and also the clothes!
Woo Hoo...

*so proud of myself* XD

Quarantine

Finally I got to spend time with my dearest Jeffrey.

Its a busy hectic month for him but he made time for me... *hugs and sayang dearest*

Anyways we went to leisure mall to catch a movie and we watched Quarantine.

Hmm... don't waste your time watching it because the storyline sucked! and it was all based on a camera recording the whole event so you'll practically get a headache as well after watching it. For the girls, I don't think you'll like the movie besides scaring yourselves, the movie is filled with blood and gore. I nearly felt sick. Its a 2 thumbs down for me.

let the spirit of xmas begin with charity

Sorry for the late post up on the Xmas charity event...
Was so busy with studies and exams...then I had to wait and sort the pictures out...

Anyways this Christmas season we started off the advent month with charity.

The church held a charity event with the theme "let the spirit of Xmas begin with charity"

So the event was actually to adopt children for a day and let them have fun and the proceeds of the bazaar goes to the church building fund. So its like hitting 2 birds with one stone.

The event was a Christmas bazaar. It started at 830am till 5pm. They sold everything from Xmas stuff, to food, to homemade pantries, to arts and craft, 2nd hand goods and etc (well basically anything that is sell able and has a high value). Besides that, there's costume competition, performances, lucky draws, bingo, games... etc...

Well enough of me talking... I'll just let the pictures do the talking now...
as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. ^^ *giggles*
