Patrick's Wedding

Oh well finally it came up to Patrick's Wedding and FINALLY he Got HITCHED
thanks to aunt rina & elaine's introduction...
Anyways it was a busy busy day... woke up at 530am to get everything ready seemingly we are more worried about the wedding than the groom himself.
[by the way the groom is a family friend]

Anyhow the journey started at cheras (the grooms house) then to serdang (brides house) then to seremban (the grooms family house). Well we are the escorts of the groom and had 4 cars of people to follow him.
We had both a chinese traditional wedding and a church wedding. So twice the detail.
A little hiccups here and there for the chinese traditional ceremony but all went well.

Here's a clip of us fetching the bride... it's hillarious... XD

Anyways wishing the newly weds a happy marriage ^^

Anyways been to a few places here and there as well. Went to the International Magic Competition Showdown in Genting. Mom got free tickets so we went. The journey wasn't very good though cause of the peak season and we actually waited 2 hours to get on the cable car up. The que is totally madness. The show was amusing that's all nothing great but mom enjoyed it.

2 weeks of a rollercoaster Ride

Well It was a really long rollercoaster ride for me...
Met an accident at kerinchi Link because got hit by a drunk driver from behind...
car lost control and the car flipped upside down...
WELL just THANK GOD that I am Alive and Without Major Injuries...
Then I Had an Emotional Relationship Rollercoaster Ride...
Well This song should explain everything I'm feeling Now...

A Love That Will Last by Renee Olstead

I want a little something more
Don't want middle or the one before
I don't desire a complicate past
I want a love that will last

Say that you love me, say I'm the one
Don't kiss and hug me and then try to run
I don't do drama, my tears don't fall fast
I want a love that will last

I don't want just a memory
Give me forever
Don't even think about saying good-bye
'Cuz I just want one love to be enough
And remain in my heart till I die

So call me romantic, oh, I guess that's so
There's something more that you ought to know
I'll never leave so don't even ask
I want a love that will last forever
I want a love that will last

I don't want just a memory
Give Me forever
Don't even think about, saying good-bye
'Cuz I just want one love to be enough
And remain in My heart till I die

So there's just a little more that I need
I wanna share the all the air that you breathe
I'm not a girl to complicate the past
I want a love that will last forever
I want a love that will last always

I just want a love that will last
I want a love that willl last

de Pavillion Kuala Lumpur

Finally I made a visit there with my mom...
and yes I have to agree with you JoJo... it's freaking HUGE...
BUT I'm proud that I finish walking all 6Th floors... XD
and later I reach home dead tired hahaha...

Oh when I walked in a saw my super seniors performing on the gamelan and ghazal.

First Stop... 6Th Floor... "Times Bookstore"
Got a book on Music Business which... I got a free umbrella... So Mom very happy XD

Well the main purpose I went there is to hunt for my jeans...
It's so hard to find a good-cut jeans...it's was a never ending search... and then me and my mom decided to stop by a kid's shop. And, what do you know I found my jeans at "Pumpkin Patch" size 16 years old. Oh well the price was reasonable, perfect cut and plus I got a free copy of the "Woman Magazines" latest issue.

Then we went around again looking at other stuff...
went right down to the 2ND floor... stopped by at "WATSON"

I have never in my entire life met a cashier so SARCASTICLY RUDE!!!

we got a few house use stuff then there was this "Jordan" toothbrush promotion. BUY 1 GET 1 free. so OK... we bought 2...
Just imagine... we forgot about the buy 1 free 1 thing. we were about to walk out after paying and mom said: " aren't we suppose to get something???" so I'm like oh yea the free toothbrush...

So we went back and asked...
the cashier girl said: "OH I DIDN'T GIVE YOU??" sarcastically...
then she took and gave us one...
then I asked her: "BUY 1 FREE 1 right?"
she said: "Yea..."
then I said: "I got 2 here...so I should get another one right?"
she said: "NO... only One!!"
I'm like HUH???!!! "I Bought 2 and u give me 1??"
then the girl answered me back "SO, You want Another want is it???"
I'm like: "Yes!!!.. I Paid For 2"
she gave me with a sour looking face...

I have never seen a freshie at work acting like that!!!

Anyways Me and Mom getting hungry already. SO mom all of a sudden had a craving for Japanese Food So we stop by at "Ichiban Boshi".
Nice food, nice interior, nice service and price reasonable not to mention handsome cooks XP ....
Here are a few pictures

Mommy happy after eating... XD

Then later when we were about to go home...Hitz.fm stop by... got some freebies... not to mention a RM10 voucher from "PARKSON"

So instead of going home... ended up shopping again XD..well basically the whole day we got a lot of freebies...

The perfect explaination for you Wayne

Appologize by Timbaland

I'm holding on your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground
And I'm hearing what you say
But I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down
But wait...You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around and say...

That it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
(But that's nothing new)
Yeah yeah

I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue
And you saySorry like the Angel Heaven let me think was you,
But I'm afraid

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
Woahooo woah
It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, a yeah

I'm holding your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground...

A week's Update

Well I'm busy as usual.
Sorry Andy I know I keep saying that word to you every time you call but at least I still spend time talking to you ^-^

Anyways lets start with the last weekend... SUNDAY
Oh well I attended a fund raising carnival in church. Lots of food, I bought like 6 chocolate brownies each worth RM3... IT TASTE SO GOOD.

Then later we had a dunking machine. and Guess who we put up there??? Our very new youth leader Carl Raj. oh well each ball is worth RM1 to get him into the water and lucky me when I donated 5 bucks to get him in I struck with the first throw.

Sorry Carl didn't mean to aim at YOU at the second throw. XP
Anyways as you can see Carl is on the Dunking Machine.

Well my God brothers all had a shot at him well actually more like 10 shots.

Well the rest of the weekdays I spend it day and night in Uni doing my work.
I took some pictures of sunset at my uni and also the night lights.

This is Aswara at dark and sunset.

Was jamming with Jun and Reza on Monday. Jun is my flute and vocal accompanist on the piano. Reza is our batch's JOHN LENNON... fantastic guitar player... a recording artist... a whole lot of attitude issues...

Reza showing off his skills & me camwhoring. Below is Jun Playing the piano.

On Wednesday evening, Allan calls when I was having my piano class =_=" He wanted to know where "Mini Genting" was so I had to call my girl Janet to show the directions.
So we drove up and it was a breath taking sight. Too bad it wasn't at night if not the KL lights would look so beautiful.

This is the look Out point

While driving back Allan and Me couldn't believe what we saw.
A PowerPuff Girl Car and the driver was a MAN!!!! inside the car was filled with girls stuff... SO WEIRD!!!!

And Finally yesterday when to uncle Roland's house for a gathering.
uncle Roland open a bottle of Bailey's and Sheridan's Coffee Layered Liquor

it taste so good and smooth...

And this is the latest picture of me in uni.

Well lets examine my pills that I need to take....
4 different pills for 7 different reasons...

The yellow tablet is for body aches and fever.
The blue tablet that looks like a flower below the yellow tablet is for my throat. For swells and cough.
and the small white tablet down bellow is for allergy and itch.
And, look here what I have found when I open the antibiotic.
I found my initials on it... A. M. C.

=To Beloved Gene=

It seems just yesterday that we were laughing our heads of over some joke.
And now 3 years have passed. You have gone to a better place.
Last night 5 mins before the hour you died exactly at 11:56pm.
Our song played "I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You" by Marc Anthony and Tina Arena.
The song you dedicated to me 24 june 2004. our 1 year annivesary from the day we met.
Earlier yesterday I've been hearing small clips of the song.
Seeing things that reminded me of you and the time we spent together.
Somehow maybe your trying to remind me that your always here for me.
Watching over me. Reminding me what you've told me before.

"Anne... your a beautiful person . If only people would stop to see and listen and get to know you. No need to change who you are but grow for the better. I'll always be here if you ever forget and doubt yourself for not being better." Gene.

I miss you so much. You were always there through thick and thin for me.
Wished you didn't go. Wished I told you how much I love you when I had the chance.
I REMEMBER, GENE.
In Loving Memory,
For My Beloved Gene.
[died 8 September 2004, 12:01am]
= I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You=

[Marc Anthony]
Moon so bright, night so fine
Keep your heart here with mine
Life's a dream, we are dreaming

[Tina Arena]
Race the moon, catch the wind
Ride the night to the end
Seize the day, stand up for the light

[together]
I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do

[Marc Anthony]
Heroes rise, heroes fall
Rise again, win it all

[Tina Arena]
In your heart, can't you feel the glory?
Through our joy, through our pain

[together]
We can move worlds again
Take my hand, dance with me

I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I will want nothing else to see me through
If I could spend my lifetime loving you

[Marc Anthony]
Though we know we will never come again
When there is love,

[together]
life begins
Over and over again

Save the night, save the day
Save the love, come what may
Love is worth everything we pay

I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I will want nothing else to see me through
If I could spend my life time loving you

For Gene,
"I Will Always Remember."

The Brainteaser test

Just taking a break from work so did a brainteaser on tickle...
RESULTS are... well pretty shocking for me...

Anne Marie, the number of questions you scored correctly is: 23/30

As we've noted, your score is in the 91 percentile of people who took this Brainteaser test.

Linguistic-mathematical Ability. You scored in the 96th percentile in linguistic-mathematical ability.

Your score on this scale indicates that your linguistic-mathematical ability is very strong. You're able to take realistic problems and apply mathematics to solve them. It is not as easy to apply this ability well as it is to apply others. You probably already use this combination to your advantage — by using math to help you understand problems that are described in words only

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pattern Recognition Ability. You scored in the 91st percentile in pattern recognition ability

Your score on this scale indicates that you're highly capable of solving pattern recognition problems. Often, you may find yourself saying to others, "Have you ever noticed that..." followed by a pattern you had observed. For example, you might say, "Have you ever noticed that most cars approaching the toll booths gravitate to the right?" because you're able to identify a pattern immediately, while others might not have even picked up on it.Given that you have this ability to a stronger degree than most people, you may find it's frustrating when people do not understand what you're trying to articulate or they do not think it's significant.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Logical Ability. You scored in the 83rd percentile in logical ability.

Your score indicates that you have a strong logical mind and are able to apply logic to determine when something isn't making sense and how you can correct that. When situations are confusing — usually because they are eliciting multiple emotions or reactions from people simultaneously — you, however, are able to apply logic to clarify things. When it counts, you're able to be rational and find the truth in the situation.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quantitative Ability. You scored in the 78th percentile in quantitative ability.

Your score on this scale indicates that you're unusually skilled at solving quantitative problems. Sometimes this comes out in ways you might not expect, such as the ability to see visual patterns in numbers or recognize when one object is unlike others around it. But, as you might imagine, having quantitative ability also means having the ability to keep track of things in their proper order to discern what is going on.However, because you have such strong quantitative ability, you may be tempted to rush through easy numerical calculations, and you may make minor addition and subtraction mistakes because you're racing to get to the end. You may also judge something as "simple" that isn't simple to most people. This has the potential to make you a little complacent which can lead you to make those small mistakes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Visual-spatial Ability. You scored in the 70th percentile in visual-spatial ability.

Your score on this scale indicates that you have moderately strong visual-spatial ability. Under most circumstances, you're able to take an ordinary problem and can visualize an answer to it, even if the means to get to the answer are not readily available at the time. When necessary, you can be a "big picture" thinker. However, at other times, you may be more inclined to focus on the details and not see the forest for the trees. This can be a good thing if you know when to look at things from a macro perspective and when to look at them from a micro perspective. Striking this balance can be your key to understanding the world or figuring out a solution to any given problem.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

wow... I learned so much bout myself... take the test yourself and find out... http://web.tickle.com/tests/braintwister/?test=braintwisterogt

a beautiful prayer

I found this email print when I was cleaning up my room dated 10 of March 2003 in a file
the title was "Why God said "No?!?"... It's actually a prayer... in it says

A BEAUTIFUL PRAYER
GOD SAID "NO?!?"

I asked GOD to take away my habit. GOD said, NO.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give up.

I asked GOD to make my handicapped child whole. GOD said, NO.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked GOD to grant me patience. GOD said, NO.
Patience is by product of tribulation. It isn't granted. It's is learned

I asked GOD to give me happiness. GOD said, NO.
I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you.

I asked GOD to spare me pain. GOD said, NO.
Suffering draws you apart from wordly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked GOD to make my spirit grow. GOD said, NO.
You must grow on your own! But, I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked GOD for all things that I might enjoy in life. GOD said, NO.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked GOD to help me LOVE others, as much as he loves me.
GOD said... ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

If you love GOD, send this to 10 people and back to the person that sent it.
This day is your don't throw it away. May GOD Bless You.

"To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world"

well besides the send this to 10 people thing... every other words are nice. well it helps in away to keep me moving on when I'm in doubt. may be that's why I kept it.

*CRYS*
This is even worst than last time.

Just Imagine my Monday schedule goes like this...
11am-1pm = music business
1pm-3pm = ear training
3pm-5pm = performance seminar
in between 3pm-5pm class with my project lecturer 3:30pm-4pm
then 6pm-8pm = harmony
NO TIME FOR LUNCH or BREAK only got time for dinner
& F.Y.I I didn't plan my schedule this way
*CRYS*

other day schedule is just like CRAP

oh well I had even more fun at MAK YUNG class than BANGSAWAN
at least it's more lively and more challenging dance moves XD

oh for Ghazal class I'll be singing traditional Malay songs
New challenge for Moi.... XP

WELL FRIDAY NIGHT... woo hoo the only day I could have fun
Went out with Allan and Derek... chit chat at dinner... lot's of laughs
we caught a movie after dinner
"Evan Almighty"
The Movie it's just So So... Nothing Much to scream about

anyways Allan and Me were more amused with the guy sitting next to Derek
The "guy" came in late with his friend and the first thing we noticed that the guy was carrying a big doggy soft toy...
and Allan went "I want a soft toy to Hug"
I was like "huh??"
Then when the "guy" sat down at first we thought he was carrying it for his girl friend or something...
He started to kiss and hug the dog... We were like right... that's so wrong
and in between the movie where the lead character of the movie triumphs... he started clapping, talking back to the movie and screaming... Yeah!! like a 5 year old kids see ultraman wind a battle or something and coincidentally before we watched the movie Allan was telling us his experience in the cinema when he was watching allien vs predator... there's this 2 girls doing the same things... he was like "WTF"
but it was really amusing and annoying at the same time...
anyways it was stress relief to spend time with them...
Thanks for the invite Allan
*winks* ^-^

FRIDAY NIGHT

Well friday night I went out with Derek haven't seen him in awhile so we caught a movie... watched The Simpsons... It was okay only... nothing much to scream about...
after that we went shopping for Jay's birthday present [Derek's cousin]
Then later Derek asked me whether I wanted to go clubbing at LUNA... well YES of course... wanted to go there for quite sometime.
Well we met up with a few of his friends Allan and Nicholas and what do you know Mr. Derek decided to be a smarty pants by wearing shorts... no corrected 3/4 pants *teases Derek* and when we got to the entrance of LUNA... he got stopped even though DJ Nicky his friend got a us in because he was wearing SHORTS...
SO NEARLY the Whole night we were on a quest to find Derek a long pants.
Well we decided to quit LUNA and go to Poppy Garden instead... while on the way calling Derek's friend Celine. The same situation happened at Poppy Derek got stopped again for his shorts it was getting frustrating but luckily Celine and Madie came to the rescue with an extra long pants. and YEAH! we got in...
Poppy was nice... Met hold new bunch of people [Derek's and Celine's friends]
had fun dancing and drinking... Stress relief...
THANK YOU Derek for bringing me along
well after Poppy's headed for Mamak for a drink
then went home and reached around 430am
Thanks Allan for sending me home It's nice knowing you *wink*
=sorry no pictures too=

ALLERGY REACTION ALERT

Well The Pick Up The Pieces Concert Ended
I thought that was it for the hosting for this month
anyways when I got back to Uni on Monday I got called again
to a meeting and this time it involves the rector of my uni...
He wants Thai and Me to host the up coming function for KEKKWA
also known as the Ministry of Culture,Arts and Heritage
and even I was so tired I couldn't say NO...
because the RECTOR asked me to... the person holding the highest position in UNI..
I'm not going to mess around... by saying No!!
so the late night rehearsals began again...

Well the next day I woke up and I found red spot and small rashes started to form on my legs... I thought it was some mosquito bite or something because it was itchy and flaming
When I was bathing all of a sudden I saw not only the rashes and spots were on my legs but my arms and stomach...
In My head... I was like Great I have to get an allergy reaction right now before the function...
oh well mom just told me to cool it of and it'll be okay
Later In the afternoon in UNi...

I was busy practising my piano and waiting for class...
I realise that I was getting itchy again and my skin was burning up
I looked at the mirror next to the piano I was practising in the studio
and saw that my neck was swollen...
I WAS ON PANIC ALERT
the allergy started to spread all over my body and especially my face
and the itch was unbearable
I called my sis instantly and Khai Lieh for assistance...
and while I was at it mom called to check on my rash... THANK GOD for that
because I really need to get to the doctor A.S.A.P
the situation of me was terrible...
everyone in uni was wondering what happened to me... my face was getting UGLY...
well Fie helped me out by sending me to the clinic where I met my mom
THANKS SO MUCH FIE your the one I can count on ^-^

me and fie

Well the doctor told me I had Urticaria some allergy symptom thing...

doc said either it was the food or it was a bug bite
the doctor gave me a jab and medications as well the only thing that I had in my mind was I need to get better by tonight because I need to host the function by Wednesday

Well the allergy didn't come off until Thursday morning...
SO I HAD TO SAY NO AND APOLOGISE to the organizers of the function
well lucky I had proof and people to tell them I was in serious condition
IF NOT MY HEAD WILL BE ON THE CHOPPING BOARD
Oh well something good came out of the allergy...
I GOT PLENTY OF REST NEEDED ^-^

sorry no pictures of me having the rash it's just too scary

Pick Up The Pieces 2007 Concert

WELL FIRST OF ALL I LIKE TO SAY A BIG SORRY TO MA' PALS... FOR NOT UPDATING RECENTLY... HAD TOO MANY CONCERTS TO HOST IN A WEEK PLUS UNI STARTED
SORRY... SORRY... SORRY...
desole... spiacente... dui bu qi... traurig

anyways back to where I left you guys...
I just started uni again... very happy wit my results...
good news for me... XD

well i thought things could not get any busier beside doing my final year
I got a call from the office that I needed to attend a meeting which I had no idea what was it about. Got there... they say "Hi Anne, how are you? anyways you are the host for this years pick up the pieces concert again?"
I was like HUH???!! RIGHT... 2 days before the concert and your telling me this NOW?? perfect timing!!
I couldn't say no to my assistant head department
and besides I have no excuse to not to...
So I hosted the concert for 3 nights in a row.

It was a crazy crazy time...
because they told me they didn't have a partner for me and I need to find someone on my own.... SO I went crazy... calling everyone I know that i felt comfortable hosting with...
was like a mad lady going around... BEGGING... *desperate*
and finally found my pal Shah from Taylors
well I'm in debt to him...
because he has been through a load of downs while this happened and he stood by me
THANKS SHAH *hugs & kisses*

Shah and Me

oh well the first night we had Fusion Crossroads
It was a night of traditional contemporary experimental music...
AND ALSO THE LONGEST SHOW I HAVE EVER HOSTED.
It LASTED 3 and a 1/2 HOURS
it was a crappy day... so many hiccups...last minute this and that...
it was a total D.I.S.A.S.T.E.R
but the last performance was the best because there's this HOT JAPANESE GUY with His HOT LOOKING RED COLOR BASS which he was totally wicked on it
*dreams*

anyways back to the blog
I loved the costume I created though... It was a sarawakian batik cloth I created it into some sort of a gown bottom... ^-^

Well the next day performance was a tribute to Dato' Dr. Ahmad Nawad one of our music greats in Malaysia
was an honor for me to interview him live on stage ^-^ well the night was very organized no hiccups
except that I got teased later because I pronounce Nawab in a British accent and it sounded wrong to some people XD
oh I got to give out goodies bag as well for the Q&A session with the audience
well overall everything was smooth...

The finale of the concert... themed 70's retrograde
oh well this was a very fun night...
I get to dress like the 70's ^-^
I look like a doll...
unfortunately didn't manage to get a picture of me in the baby doll dress
oh well maybe when the people from Uni... gets it on the website then I can post it up
well we had an extra host that night besides shah and me
I had Thai on stage as well.. he's my graduated senior from the theatre department
we got the audience grooving and partying
had a session where we had some people from the audience doing their moves from the 70's to Saturday Night Fever
Everything was good and moving as scheduled
oh well for the whole week I was drained...
because of THIS
anyways sorry because there's not much pictures... I was working XP
